“PANDEMIC KA LANG , I AM FILIPINO”

When you woke up this morning, did you think that the day you saved your life would be today?

In reality, saving a life is pretty easy and it just takes a little bit of your time.It's not even appropriate for you to be a paramedic or a firefighter.All  you have to do in this covid19 - pandemic is to follow all the protocols and be safe. This Blog will explore the awareness of one self , changing the environment and realized initiatives that a filipino youth can contribute In the society admist the global pandemic.

COVID-19isa diseasecaused by a new strain of coronavirus. ‘CO’ stands for corona, ‘VI’ for virus, and ‘D’ for disease. Formerly, this disease was referred to as ‘2019 novel coronavirus’ or ‘2019-nCoV.’

Symptoms can include fever, cough and shortness of breath. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia or breathing difficulties. This is why testing is required to confirm if someone has COVID-19.

The virus is transmitted through direct contact with respiratory droplets of an infected person (generated through coughing and sneezing). Individuals can also be infected from and touching surfaces contaminated with the virus and touching their face (e.g., eyes, nose, mouth).

Older people, and people with chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease, appear to be more at risk of developing severe symptoms. As this is a new virus, we are still learning about how it affects children.

At a time when communities and families are in quarantine, health workers, humanitarians and other essential workers in the region are at the forefront of the emergency response, working hard to stop the spread of the virus and provide life-saving services, supplies and information. We could help our nation stand up and fight, for our health workers at the frontlines in this battle. They, who became our new world heroes.

We also acknowledge our low-skilled workers who play a significant role in combatting the pandemic. The youth thank you. There are still a number who remains to be unmentioned. But, even from the safety of our homes, we have seen your commendable efforts to help and serve the people, who are in dire need of basic commodities due to diminishing access to resources brought by the lockdown.

Filipinos are helpfulness because we do not choose whom to help. When someone needs assistance, they readily come to their aid. Marked with courage, especially in times of distress and other problems.Last the unity Also referred to as the “Bayanihan”, we are helping each other when their fellowmen need them.

In every epic story of battle, there will be villains and there will be heroes. Some will be recognized and a few put on a pedestal; most will be relegated to our short-term memory while some may be totally forgotten. In the world after this  coronavirus, as Filipinos and global citizens doing our part, we can see that global solidarity will win over national interests and humanity will prevail as the most important asset to health security.

We have talked about the suffering caused by COVID-19 a lot, but there is a lesson in this crisis too. If we try, we can work to make these positive changes permanent to make this world a better place for our next generations. Let’s hope the Coronavirus leads to a better understanding of environmental changes on a global level.Let us help each other because The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away. Let us stay safe, well-informed and positive as we fight hand in hand. We will get through this crisis together and we will be multiple steps closer towards a new world with a healed humankind.
